Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She has been widely recognized for her pioneering work in studying child witnesses and eyewitness memories in legal settings. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded many prizes and grants. She has offered policy and research consultations to numerous agencies and government departments across the world. Additionally, she provides consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a fellow of many professional organizations including the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Traumatic Stress and Women 56). She is the founder of the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research into Child Development and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has been director of 3 divisions (Division Society for Child and Family Policy as well as Practice Division of the American Psychological Law Society as well as Division Developmental Psychology) and one section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
