Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. Her other roles are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting while attending the Preparatory School. The late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She was a theatre student at Northwestern University and spent a semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna appeared in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it was not until the end of the 1990s when she was cast in an acting role on The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood were also the highlights of her acting career. Gunn was also on the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of the character Numbered Days in a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. The romance that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the plot on Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final days of his life.
