Kirsten Vangsness is an American actor since the early 1990s. Her most well-known role was that of Penelope Garcia, in the acclaimed police procedural crime series Criminal Minds. Kirsten Vangsness has also been the star of the spin-offs 'Criminal Minds Beyond Borders' and Suspect the Behavior. Kirsten Vangsness has appeared on many other television shows. Though she's mostly acting on TV shows, she has also done some small roles in film since making her debut in the show business in 1998. Her roles have been notable in films such as 'In My Sleep, The Chicago Eight", and 'Kill Me Deadly.' Apart from writing pieces for 'The Los Angeles Times', she's also the co-writer of three episodes on 'Criminal Minds'. She is known for rescuing and rehabilitation of abandoned or injured cats.
